About the song: It was one of the few songs I wrote after my mom passed away on december 2018. it is a song about letting people go, letting them die and moving on. accepting death, even if the person is still living. knowing how to say goodbye. this was always very hard to me so, as I always say, sometimes I think of the song as being more of an ironic piece. “‘let everyone die’, how stupid is that? how could you do that? you’re asking the impossible of me.” even though I only faced death once, in this very instant, there were a lot of people in my life I had to act like they were deceased for we went through a process of separation. but the worst day of my life is still that day in december, when we got the news of her death. i can’t let go of it. i don’t feel capable of letting anyone die.
